DESCRIPTION:The maiden edition of Regal Africa AfroFest was held from the 6th to the 7th of November 2021 in Culver City\, California. It was a 2-day celebration of Africa\, held during the 2021 annual Asian Film Festival. \nThe event started with a conference titled “The African Dream” in conversations with Esi Yemoah\, Niran Koko\, Olamide Oladimeji\, Sara Eid Amin Sabry\, and Yeti Omilana and moderated by Olukayode Olubunmi. \nThe festival had participants from all over the world. It featured art exhibitions by Ronke Aina-Scott\, fashion by Oyindamola Ogunsanwo of House of Jasmine\, dance by Ayo Jam\, food\, silent auctions\, raffles\, a VIP afterparty\, and more.
